They have a newsletter each month that reports on events and have included the Rarities and This Day in History links; they are donating an America 250 flag to the DAR with pole and base, and will be presenting to their District meeting. Also they are working on Hispanics and African-Americans and notes that there is a book on their participation pending. www.californiasar.org
Texas
Sam Maxey and Larry Stevens attended the NJ State meeting and are going to be pairing with them on joint activities; they have 170 members on their Color Guard data base. They are starting in Galveston to commemorate Bernardo de Galvez and have enlisted the Spanish Consul in developing a “Galvez Trail” that will highlight his activities during the Revolution. www.txssar.org

Runners will be carrying torches through all of the Counties ending in Vincennes (commemorating the Battle of Vincennes). https://indianasar.org/
